A 40-minute interactive classroom session for 8–11 year olds. Children leave seeing pigeons differently and with a real-world mission they can participate in.
The session is built as a game, not a lecture. Children vote, guess, argue and decide. It opens with myth-or-fact, moves through pigeon abilities and observation, then hands the class responsibility for one pigeon's welfare decisions.
Children explore and tackle a real world welfare problem. The first rule they are taught is to observe first — not touch, not catch, not feed — and to tell a responsible adult when an animal needs help.
